Strong Nettle Beer Complete Kit

All equipment and ingredients (except nettles, sugar and water!) you need to make full flavoured, strong nettle beer!

Simple and easy to make! Excellent to drink! Full instructions included!

Just collect 10lb of nettles, and buy 1lb of ordinary granulated sugar and 5lb of brown sugar (demerara). Everything else you need to make 40 pints of superb nettle beer - even the bottles - is in this pack!

All the equipment, and a lot of the ingredients, can be used for future brews. (Including any of the range of kits we offer, if you don't want to collect your own ingredients next time!)

This offer includes:

Fermentation bin (to make it in)

Yeast

Yeast nutrient (for a healthy and active yeast)

Muslin bags (to strain the beer from the nettles)

Cream of tartar (to give flavour and body)

Syphon tube (to fill the bottles)

20 1-Litre beer bottles (plastic, re-useable)

Long-reach stirrer (to mix the sugar in)

Citric acid (to give the beer body)

Hydrometer (to measure when the beer is ready to bottle)

Sterlising Powder (to ensure everything is clean to start with!)

The process is simple: wash and boil the nettles, strain and add sugar and supplied ingredients. Leave a week or so then syphon it into the bottles! It will be drinkable a week or so later! (Full instructions are included in the pack)

Beware: This makes a very strong beer - between two and four times stronger than normal beer.
